Directions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Heat an oven-proof pot over medium heat and melt butter.

Add onions and garlic and cook until fragrant, about 2 minutes.

Step 4

Sprinkle in flour and cook until slightly golden, 2 minutes more.

Step 5

Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream and bring to a boil.

Step 6

Season with salt, pepper, and mustard powder.

Step 7

Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until liquid coats the back of a spoon, 10-12 minutes.

Step 8

Stir in cooked pasta, chicken, ham, and swiss cheese.

Step 9

Sprinkle top with Parmesan.

Step 10

Bake until warmed through, 10-12 minutes.

Step 11

For a golden top, broil for an extra 2-3 minutes.

Step 12

Garnish with parsley.

Cook's Notes

If you desire, you can replace rotisserie chicken with 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, diced into 1/2 inch pieces. Simply add diced chicken and cook for 3-4 minutes until golden brown, then proceed with the recipe by adding onions and garlic.
